Gluconolactone

What It Is
A polyhydroxy acid (PHA) derived from glucose. PHAs are the next-generation chemical exfoliants — they share the cell-turnover mechanism of AHAs but with a larger molecular size meaning shallower penetration and dramatically lower irritation risk.

Gluconolactone chemically exfoliates by dissolving the bonds between dead skin cells, revealing smoother and brighter skin.
